Love Serenade (1996 / 101 mins)

Dimity (Miranda Otto) and Vicki-Ann (Rebecca Firth) living in the quiet small town of Sunray. That is until Ken Sherry (George Shevtsov), smooth talking Brisbane DJ, comes to town causing Dimity and Vick-Ann to compete for his affection with some catastrophic results.

Winner of the Camera d'or at the 1996 Cannes Film Festival and nominated for 2 AFI Awards, Love Serenade features an all-female creative team in Shirley Barrett (writer/director), Jan Chapman (producer), Mandy Walker (cinematographer), and Denise Haratzis (editor). 

Following the film is a ‘Love Songs and Dedications’ after-party. You can send your own messages of love while chilling to some smooth tunes and a few drinks.
